Paragon T2®
The Only Bipolar Radiofrequency Wand Clinically Designed for Articular Cartilage
The Paragon T2 ArthroWand has a tip and electrode design based on more than 5 years of published scientific research on the application of bRF-based energy on articular cartilage. The Wand
provides real-time visual indication of optimal surgical technique and local environmental
conditions at the electrode tissue surface. Paragon T2 ArthroWand uses effective low temperature
(45-55°C) controlled ablation resulting in less than 150 microns of damage to residual
articular cartilage tissue
1.
Paragon T2 ArthroWand Features
- Band of temperature sensitive material transitions from blue to white at 50°C (+/-5°)
- Ultra fine tungsten electrode requires lower power for plasma formation
- Circular electrode design provides multidirectional ablation
